Wealth isn’t built fast — it’s built with intention

What Venus in Capricorn Teaches About Value, Commitment, and Purpose

Hi there,

I released a new episode of The Southern Mystic today titled:

Wealth isn’t built fast — it’s built with intention | Venus in Capricorn

(You can listen above or watch here)

In this episode, we explore what Venus in Capricorn teaches us about value and long-term stability. This is a grounded season.

One that asks us to slow down and reflect.

What am I building?

Why does it matter?

And will it last?

We talk about how clarity creates real support, why small choices matter more than big pushes, and how working with intention can quietly change your relationship with money over time.

Inside the episode, I also share a practical intention ritual around wealth called a money bowl.

Since you’re already part of my Inner Circle, I wanted to make sure you had the full how-to in case you feel called to try it for yourself. There’s no rush. No pressure. Just an option to work with intention in a grounded, real-life way.

Below is the ritual exactly as shared.

What a money bowl is

A money bowl is a physical space you intentionally create.

It represents:

  • Your relationship with money

  • The way you want to receive resources

  • The habits, choices, and awareness you’re cultivating

It’s a reminder that money is not just numbers. It’s energy, exchange, effort, and care.

What you’ll need (with options)

  • A bowl (glass, ceramic, or metal)

  • Uncooked rice

  • Cinnamon (sticks if you have them)

  • A candle (color matters)

  • A statue or symbol to guard the bowl

  • Crystals

  • Cash and coins

  • A small amount of water

Optional additions:

  • Basil

  • Bay leaf

  • Clove

Why these ingredients matter

Rice is often used as the base because it represents nourishment, support, and “enough.” It creates a steady foundation.

Adding a small amount of water helps firm the rice and ground the bowl. It gives the work weight and stability.

Cinnamon (sticks if possible. )Cinnamon is associated with movement and activation. It helps keep energy circulating instead of being stagnant. A block remover, if you will.

Optional herbs

  • Basil → opportunity and income through effort

  • Bay leaf → goals and intentions

  • Clove → protection and preservation

Use what you have. Intention matters more than excess.

Candle color (choose with purpose)

Use a chime candle or small pillar, placed in the center of the bowl.

  • Green → steady growth and income

  • Gold → success and expansion

  • White → clarity, protection, and reset

The statue: guarding your bowl

The statue acts as a guardian.

It symbolizes protection and care over what you’re building. Choose something meaningful to you:

  • A prosperity symbol

  • An angel or spiritual figure

  • A protective animal

  • A faith-based symbol

Place it in the bowl or directly behind it.

Crystals

Crystals help anchor focus and intention in a physical way.

Use what you have. Choose stones that remind you of confidence, motivation, or steady growth.

Step-by-step: building the bowl

Step 1: Choose where the bowl will live

Pick a spot you’ll see often. Awareness keeps intention active.

Step 2: Add the rice and water

Pour uncooked rice into the bowl.

Add just a little water — enough to firm it, not flood it.

Step 3: Add cinnamon and herbs

Place cinnamon sticks into the rice.

Add any optional herbs now.

Step 4: Add your cash and coins

This part matters.

Use money that reflects how you want to receive income:

  • Money from work you enjoyed

  • A tip that felt good

  • A sale you felt proud of

If you’re calling in travel or expansion, you can add:

  • Foreign currency

  • $2 bills

  • Coins from places you’ve been or want to go

This shapes the experience of receiving, not just the amount.

Step 5: Add crystals

Place them in the bowl as support.

Step 6: Place the statue

Set it as the guardian of the space.

Step 7: Place the candle in the center

This becomes the heart of the bowl.

Step 8: Set the intention

Light the candle.

Hold your hands over the bowl.

Slow your breath.

Deeply consider your intention.

Not rushed.

Not forced.

Clear and honest.

When you feel complete, blow the candle out.

Step 9: Write your intention and place it under the bowl

How the bowl stays charged

Charging doesn’t end with the ritual.

After the bowl is built:

  • Be conscious of what’s coming in

  • Notice support when it shows up

  • Hold on to awe and gratitude

That awareness continues to charge the bowl.

Keeping the flow alive -->You can use the money in the bowl.

Money is meant to move:

  • Take a bill when needed

  • Spend it intentionally

  • Replace it when you can

  • Add coins as money comes in

Flow matters more than holding.

This practice is about intention paired with awareness. And honoring Venus through grounded action, responsibility, and care.

Small choices.Repeated care.Real life.
